Pro Eleven, Arcade, Tournament, and Friendly: how Virtual Star Soccer plays
A tour of the game's four modes, from a career that starts in the second division to a couch match against your best friend.
Pro Eleven is the long haul: you start in the second division and have to fight your way up. There are leagues from Spain, England, Italy, and Argentina, cups, a women's circuit, club finances, and a transfer market.
Arcade is the exact opposite: fireball shots, particle effects, and zero seriousness. Tournament lets you build your own cup and take it all the way to the final, and Friendly is the classic Player 1 vs. Player 2 on the same couch, or both of you teaming up against the CPU.
You can also play in several formats: 11 vs. 11, 10 vs. 10, 9 vs. 9, 7-a-side, futsal, and even 1 vs. 1. And since teams and squads are fully editable, you can build your own league, recreate your local club, or update the rosters every season.
